Make/Model Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose RHD 8377
Description 1966 The ultimate twin cam specification i.e. long nose, six carburettors and torque tube. Argento Silver coachwork with black all leather interior, both wire and alloy wheels. Order No. 241, 3rd March 1966. Delivered new to Maranello Concessionaires and used as demonstrator until 26/5/1966 when the car was sold by Maranello to its first owner. This 275 was once owned by English sculptor David Credle. At some time the HAA was painted red and had the bumpers removed. In this guise the cars appears in several publication including Classic Ferraris by Brian Laban, frontispiece and pages 100 to 105, Le Ferrari da Legenda, pages 94 to 96 and Petrolhead, pages 220 to 224. In 1983 the car was passed to Lord Charles Brocket and joined his Lordship’s collection. Often quoted as his favourite car, it nonetheless ran for very few miles before being sold to collector Reza Rashidian in February 1992. At that time, the car was extensively re-commissioned including being repainted back to its original colour of silver. It was sold to its present owner in 1999 when it joined a collection of similar 1960s iconic cars. It had been regularly but sparingly used and kept in excellent condition.
