This stunning, matching numbers 246 GTS is one of only five original factory built right hand drive ‘Chairs and Flares’ examples ever built. Of those five cars one is in Hong Kong, one is in South Africa, and one is, as far as I am aware, missing.
A nut and bolt restoration was carried out by world renowned Dino experts Fosker Engineering, 1987-1990. The body and paint was done by Shane Willis of Prestige Coachworks and the trim by Mike Thomas. This culminated in it’s appearance in the Dino Class of the National Ferrari Owners’ Club Concours in 1990, which that year was held at Brocket Hall.
Since the restoration the car has covered only about 3,000 miles, and has spent the last six years in a heated garage amongst a fabulous collection of pre and post war exotics.
Only being reluctantly offered for sale to make way for something else, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a very rare car.
Finished in Rosso Corsa with contrasting tan leather with black ‘Daytona’ stripes and tan carpets.
